Roller tubes

  • Big advantage over filament/tape wound tubes as we can achieve a true 0° fibre orientation resulting in a stronger and stiffer tube using like-for-like dimensions.
  • Computer design and software facilities to calculate stresses and deflections for any loading scenario.
  • Over 100 sizes of tooling to make almost any dimensions/wall-thickness required.
  • Different modulus materials giving cost/stiffness options.
  • Large in-house turning capability for finishing these tubes between centres to achieve excellent diametric/straightness/concentricity/ovality tolerances.


Telescopic tubes

  • Telescopic sets for radio masts, antennas, photography and sound booms, high-level window cleaning, etc.
  • Extensive range of tooling means we have literally thousands of options with wall thickness, spacings and lengths.
  • Different surface finishes for appearance, grip, durability and electrical insulation.

Exhaust tubing

  • Finish options include 2x2 twills, plain weaves and texalium.
  • Tubes are supplied lacquered for high gloss either clear or with a red or blue tint.
  • Costs can be reduced by specifying the majority of the tube to be glass fibre with a carbon cosmetic finish.
