The properties of Carbon Fibre make this material ideal for use on drones/UAS projects; the low weight-strength ratio provides ‘systems savings’ which potentially means less power is required to fly the drone. Equally material stability is often prioritised for drones to ensure functionality of the UAV is not affected by adverse environmental conditions; Carbon Fibre’s near zero thermal expansion and resistance to corrosion is therefore ideal.
